We had a good size party come in. They were very flexible and let us arrive an hour earlier then out set reservations. The waitress was very nice. We never sat long before she checked on us. Food was good. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. Best thing is they never rushed us out. We were able to sit there for 2 hours and enjoy.
My prime rib dinner was fantastic. Service was wonderful. A friend called in and told them it was my birthday, so they all said Happy Birthday.
There is nothing I would change!
Thank you for the dessert!
Casual place with great food and service. We will be back!
Very nice service and staff, the food was good but not great. Smallish portions, which is fine, but the chicken was a little dry and the baked potato was very overcooked and dry even with the "loaded" accouterments. The coconut shrimp were great! Everyone seemed to be having a good time, which is the important part, right?
It's a nice place that has a cozy feel. Not what I expected for being in a strip mall. The menu is simple and the food was good. Went on a company lunch so I don't remember the prices.
Second visit the steak was not great. No flavor at all, but service was great.
Had a fun date night at Fire Creek. It was holiday season and they decorated the interior to look festive. The lighting was a good dark level which was perfect for a date night. Our server Gary was amazing, we wouldn't mind seeing him again next time we come back. Was always on top of things and giving us just the right amount of time between visits.
For the food we started off with Fried Mozzarella which was very tasteful and delicious. The cheese was melted perfectly inside and outside, sitting on top of seasoned marinara sauce, and covered with parmesan cheese.
The main meals we had were the Fire Creek Burger and Fire Creek Prime Rib. The Burger I'm told was delicious and the BBQ sauce on it was good. The fries were surprisingly good too, they didn't look seasoned but tasted as if they were. The Prime Rib was cooked medium rare to my liking, was pretty good but I probably would of preferred a bit more seasoning on it. It's still up on my list compared to some other places I've ate at though.
Finally for Dessert we had their take on a Chocolate Lava Cake. Was served pretty quickly. The cake was warm and had hot melted fudge in the center, with a scoop of vanilla Ice Cream and whipped cream.
Overall had a very nice time and will probably come back again to try other menu items.
It isnt often you find both exceptional service AND food. But at Fire Creek you get both. We have dined as a couple, with a small group of friends and tonight as a group of 35. The venue was perfect for our sons wedding rehearsal dinner. Decorated beautifully, they allowed us to bring in special mementos to set up and even helped us. Lori is one of the best servers around. Attentive and professional. No one in our party had a dry glass, every course came out quickly, food was not only delicious it was piping hot (kuddos to the chefs). Every order was correct and our guests all raved about the food. Thank you to Meg, Lori, the kitchen and rest of the team at Fire Creek. Thank you for the amazing night and all that you do!!!
Many things I love about Fire Creek - but some things to avoid.
They were out of the Prime Rib I came for, so I chose the Cajun Ribeye instead. The flavor of the seasoning was great - and did some heavy lifting attempting to make the steak worth the price.
I’m not sure if the meat was frozen too long, a cheap grade cut with poor marbling - or if there are issues with how it was prepared. It was extremely tough/chewy/dry despite appear close to medium rare when I first cut into it. Either way, I might recommend sticking to something else on the menu to avoid the beef jerky-esque ribeye.
Waitstaff was busy but not unacceptably slow. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine at one point but was great otherwise.
Shrimp Diablo pasta was great, but sea scallop add on was only 3 miniature scallops for the price.
Wine selection and drinks are great, environment and ambiance leave nothing to be desired.
As long as you’re cautious with what you order - or not very hungry after a long drive and wiling to send the food back and wait - it’s worth trying.
I would like to start things off by saying the food was Great and a very nice restaurant. But the service we had was horrible, I believe our servers name was Crisi she was an older lady. EXTREMELY RUDE. She should not be in customer service!
